SAVE THE YOUTHS’ MISSION: A group of 24 children
in Perú started out in this revolutionary orphanage founded by an American woman, and they were raised together. Now college-age, these youths are working to build their lives and their futures…hoping for a better world.

Our Mission
A message from the Director, Viviana Martinez:
“We support this group of youth into becoming healthy, happy, free, functioning adults able to build a life that allows each one of them to break the cycle of poverty, to be able to be active participants in the transformation of our society.”
The youths we have in Cusco after their move last year, and their areas of study include:
- Ermelinda – Chemical Engineering
- Zenobia – Pastry Chef
- Belisario – Economics
- Luis – Chef’s School
- Ivan – Marketing
- Marlitt – Biology
- Rusbel – Architecture
Each youth is expected to hold a part-time job and will be responsible for their personal expenses (toiletries, clothing). We’re looking for funding now to continue their housing, food support, transportation, education, enrichment expenses, stewardship including counseling and spiritual support, and medical needs.
There are only 2 years left to achieve this next goal to get them through college. The plan is to transition these youth into independent living once they complete their education and hold stable jobs, and unite them with other emerging indigenous leaders on a global scale.
Please help these kids! Be part of this Youth Coalition for a better world, modeling ancestral ways: mutually supportive and sustainable solutions to a healthy evolution of all our Youths’ lives and communities. These are times when they need this support the most!
